VICTORIA
DAVID
Victoria founded Boffin in 2016 after 10 years working in recruitment. Having been an award-winning, top billing consultant for a multi-national agency, Victoria spent the next few years working for a truly lovely boutique agency. Over the course of her professional career she built a network of loyal clients and candidates that trust her to do a great job. They are the backbone of the Boffin business and straddle a wide range of industries. She innovated Boffin’s no target, no KPI, work-from-home ethos and is a firm believer in allowing people to make their own decisions.
She loves cooking with her daughter, vintage shopping, an Aperol spritz in a sunny beer garden and being in bed by 9pm unless on her annual pilgrimage to Ibiza.
THOMAS O’RIORDAN
Thomas joined Boffin in 2017, bringing over 15 years’ commercial leadership experience in roles across financial media and digital recruitment platforms. Based at Boffin HQ, Thomas is responsible for all financial and operational aspects of the business as well as ensuring clients are matched with the highest quality sales and marketing candidates.
Thomas enjoys attempting to convince his daughter to put down her Switch and leave the house, socialising with friends, watching a full range of sports, complaining about the cats and digging online and in charity shops for weird and wonderful beats.
ALICE
BRADY
Alice has been with Boffin since day one, she has been instrumental in making the business
what it is today and we couldn’t have done it without her. After many years of being our
Founder’s PA and wing-woman with an emphasis on candidate relations, she has moved on to the glorious role of Executive Consultant, running a busy London perm and temp desk. She thrives on discovering exactly what her clients need and then delivering more. On the other side of the recruitment coin, Alice is a dab hand at finding candidate’s their dream job too!
A huge fan of music, Alice is often at live gigs in London and beyond. She is a lover of Korean food and culture, and when not experimenting in the kitchen she can be found exploring London’s new Asian restaurants with her teenage daughter (yes, we know, she doesn’t look old enough).
VICKY PUGIN
An integral part of the team since 2016 Vicky brings a wealth of industry experience to the Boffin team with over 35 years in recruitment. Working with both High St agencies and boutique brands Vicky has developed a huge array of skills and contacts. This means that finding the ideal candidate for each client and vice versa is simply second nature. Born in London but a resident of both Zimbabwe and South Africa until 2006 Vicky has also worked with businesses in the middle east. This gives her a truly global recruitment perspective. As if that wasn't enough to keep her busy Vicky is also mother to identical triplets.
Her super power is going the extra mile (she has been known to babysit for a candidate to help them make an interview) and she can always be relied upon to bring the sunniest of smiles on a cloudy day!
GEORGE OGIER
A Boffin veteran now, George joined Boffin shortly after its inception. Coming from a background of social media and sports journalism, George brings a different skill set to the Boffin team. George loves digging into the detail of a new brief and is at his best when helping people to realise their professional dreams. This is a core part of why he loves recruitment and as he puts it, “done properly, Recruitment is a good news business”.
George lives in the Cotswolds and when not dealing with the subtle disappointment of supporting Tottenham Hotspur he coaches youth football and thinks about what to eat next.
JESS
TOWNLEY
Jess is an experienced resourcer specialising in the pharmaceutical and construction industries, working across sales, marketing, finance and office support. She is brilliant at guiding her candidates through complex recruitment processes and helping them land their dream job! If you’re looking for your next role – Jess would love to hear from you.
In her spare time, Jess can be found looking after her beautiful baby girl or trying to catch up on some much needed sleep. She juggles work and motherhood like a boss. Jess we salute you!
SIMBA
Simba, the Boffin office cat, brings over 15 years’ experience of ornithophobia and an inability to find a dry spot on a wet night. During office hours, he can usually be found sleeping in the printer cupboard.
